In 2025 the Al Capone Breeding Incentive went off at the Epic Horse Sale. Tim and Natalie Merdith purchased Benalla One Roan Al from the Epic Sale in 2024 as a led yearling gelding. In 2025, Lynda MacCallum bought him back on their behalf and placed 2nd in the Epic 2yo Challenge, also taking the Al Capone Breeding Incentive. Also in 2025, at the Toowoomba Supreme Sale, Georgia Maben placed 2nd in the 2yo Challenge with her 2024 purchase, Benalla Santangelo. Such an exciting start for the Al Capone progeny in the competition arena.
